"JACKET OFF" - Pennsylvania Six-5000 1993 CD

"Pennsylvania Six-5000" is known as one of the oldest and most memorable phone numbers in American history, as well as being an iconic song performed by Glen Miller and his Orchestra in the 1940's.

However, on the East Coast "Pennsylvania Six-5000" is also widely known as the name of the Acapella group housed within The University of Pennsylvania.

The group has rotating members as students graduate, but the group in and of itself has been around for several decades, and continues to this day.

In 1993, the then-active members of the group recorded an album, "Jacket Off" (a play on "jack it off", cover complete with man in bathroom stall, and back cover with a cartoon sperm). As far as I can tell, this album is absolutely nowhere online.

It's full of comedic covers and parodies (as is the group's trademark) and it's a joy to listen to if you're a fan of Acapella, parodies, or both!
